Navigating Loss
Grief is the mind’s natural reaction to loss. When we lose someone or something we love, it can feel as if we’ve lost a central part of ourselves. It’s also the case that one heartbreak often opens up a portal into other past sorrows, making the experience of grieving feel overwhelming and at times, disorienting. Some losses are sudden whereas others are gradual or ambiguous in nature. I work with individuals experiencing illness, death of a loved one, caretakers fatigue, infertility, and so much more.
The complex and individual nature of grief can lead to symptoms that can make it hard to move from one moment to the next. You may have trouble eating, sleeping, or performing the daily tasks of your life. You may feel as if you’ve lost the ability to connect and feel joy.
The process of mourning involves a working through of all these complex emotions. Together we’ll explore your suffering with compassion, helping you to process and integrate what you’re going through.
