My work is rooted in contemporary psychoanalytic thinking, which means I'm less interested in giving you a checklist and more interested in understanding you — the full, complicated, sometimes contradictory person you are. That said, I'm not a blank screen. I bring curiosity, warmth, and a genuine point of view into the room.

Dr. Ji Choi is a licensed clinical psychologist and serves as Lead Psychologist at Dr. A + Associates. When you reach out to our practice, Dr. Choi is often the first person you'll talk to. She takes the time to understand what you're looking for and helps connect you with the therapist best suited to your needs, whether that's Dr. Choi herself, a clinician in our practice, or a trusted colleague elsewhere in the Los Angeles community. She also works closely with Dr. Martinez to support the growth and day-to-day operations of the practice.
