Dr. Achenbach approaches his work with a curiosity of a patient’s unique life experiences and how the past has contributed to current challenges. He is skilled at identifying and understanding the ways of coping that have allowed his patients to get through life that might no longer be serving them. He sees this process as vital to making change.

Dr. Achenbach holds a particular interest in supporting those in early recovery from addiction. He has compassion for this particularly vulnerable time and works well with those looking to combine depth therapy during a recovery journey.

In addition to teens, Sarah finds particular interest in working with individuals of all ages who struggle with various challenges, including life transitions, anxiety, depression, family relationships, complex trauma, and relationship difficulties. 

Sarah is highly skilled in supporting her patients in exploring their experiences in a judgment-free and trusting environment. It is through this collaborative space that Sarah believes meaningful change and healing occurs.

Dr. Kane provides a balanced approach of recognizing the importance of long term therapeutic work while also addressing immediate barriers in order to help you implement the life skills necessary for movement forward. She is curious to learn about your unique cultural, ethnic, racial, sexual, and familial experiences and how they influence and impact your identity in everyday life. Dr. Kane works well with individuals, couples and has a unique interest in parenting.
